The Look Beautifully constructed in sterling silver with glass beads, these stitch markers truly are knitting jewels. The glistening combination of sterling, glass and color definitely is “an elegant way of keeping your place.” The pack comes with 20 markers plus a single contrasting color marker for marking the beginning of your row.
The Feel / Applications These markers are so lovely that you’ll find all kinds of reasons to use them. Use Needle Jewels for all your marking needs: beginning of rounds in circular knitting, increase/decrease points, to separate lace or cable pattern repeats, side “seams”, underarm “seams”, or to mark short row shaping, to name just a few uses.
Color Range Needle Jewels are available in red, cobalt and aqua beads on sterling silver rings.
Usage Needle Jewels are produced in 3 sizes. Small fits needles up to US size 5, medium fits up to US size 10 and large fits up to US size 17. Each size comes as a set of 21 markers: 20 in the main color plus a contrasting color to mark the beginning of a row or other important change.
What I’d Like to Use it For Save time (and hair!) by making it a habit to use stitch markers to set off the pattern repeats in lace or cable knitting. It is far easier to detect and correct errors at the end of a single pattern repeat than after one or several rows of knitting. The markers slip easily as you knit and don’t distort your knitting.
Knitting Outside the Box Make knitting your fashion statement: string one or several Needle Jewels onto a chain or cord for a lovely necklace or bracelet. They will always be handy plus you will look great.
Care Needle Jewels are packaged in a tiny zip close bag that will fit nicely into your knitting bag. For greater security, or if the bag fatigues, slide your Needle Jewels onto a coil-less safety pin and secure it to your knitting kit or bag.
